Proligner Class 2
Class II Malocclusion
A malocclusion where the upper incisors, canines and sometimes molars are in a forward position and the maxilla looks more protruded than the mandible.

Treatment options for Class II Malocclusion with Proligner aligners:

Accept the AP discrepancy

  • Focus on simple correction of teeth alignment and accept the class II discrepancy.

Address the increase in the overjet

  • Retraction of upper anterior segment and proclination of lower anteriors to decrease the overjet without addressing the class II discrepancy.

Correct the Class II AP discrepancy

  • Distalization of upper posterior.

  • Mesialization of lower posterior segments.

  • Combination of both.
