Class II Malocclusion
A malocclusion where the upper incisors, canines and sometimes molars are in a forward position and the maxilla looks more protruded than the mandible.

Accept the AP discrepancy

Focus on simple correction of teeth alignment and accept the class II discrepancy.
Address the increase in the overjet

Retraction of upper anterior segment and proclination of lower anteriors to decrease the overjet without addressing the class II discrepancy.
Correct the Class II AP discrepancy

Distalization of upper posterior.

Mesialization of lower posterior segments.
